Our Manchester Clinic can also offer a postal service for all of these tests. Travellers returning to the UK from Amber countries must have PCR tests at Days 2 and 8. These are designed to detect new variants of Covid and genomic sequencing is performed on positive sample results.
Test to release from quarantine for people returning from Amber list countries is also carroed out at our City, Canary Wharf and Manchester clinics. These are carried out on day 5. Those returning from Green list countries are not required to quarantine but must have a test at day 2.
People returning to the UK must also have a PCR test 72 hours before returning- this test is carried out in the country where they are staying before return to the UK.
