Same Day Blood Test Results

For the vast majority of blood tests, including standard haematology and biochemistry tests, we will get results on the same day if the patient attends in the morning. For patients with appointments in the afternoon, the test results will be available overnight. Similarly, private blood tests for HIV, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and syphilis are also available on the same day. We can run more complex private blood tests if needed, including genetic tests, allergy tests, hormone testing, male and female hormones, testing for patients undergoing surgical procedures preoperatively, and testing for couples undergoing fertility and IVF treatment. Immunology testing is also available, as is the measurement of tumour markers, virology tests, and vitamin levels. We are proud to be your one-stop shop for private blood tests when you need quick and reliable results from a trusted doctor.

Patients undergoing treatments for conditions such as ADHD will require private blood testing before beginning medication. Preoperative private blood tests include testing for clotting factors, anaemia, kidney, and liver function. Visa medicals often require us to test for HIV as well as other infectious diseases, and we are experienced in fulfilling the criteria to successfully obtain a visa for many worldwide destinations.

how long do blood test results take?

Most blood test results are returned on the same day for your convenience and peace of mind.

This depends on the blood test required, as we provide hundreds of different blood tests at our private walk in clinics, all testing for various conditions. An HIV test, for example, costs £130, including consultation.

If you want to get a specific price on a specific blood test, please contact our expert team for professional, friendly advice.

What blood tests do you offer?

We offer a wide range of hundreds of possible blood tests for almost every known illness at any of our clinic locations.

What does a routine blood test check for?

Our routine blood tests cover haematology and biochemistry, including liver and kidney checks, glucose and cholesterol, and the full range, including thyroid function.

Which blood test do I need?

This depends entirely on your personal situation. We would advise you to have a consultation first and discuss your needs with one of our GPs.

How do I know if I need a blood test?

Again, this will be resolved after a proper consultation, including a physical examination, and you will be fully advised on the costs of the blood tests.

What can a blood test tell my GP about my health?

Routine blood tests offer first-class information about how your body and your organs are functioning; in many senses, they are superior to having a full-body scan, which simply takes a picture of your organs and does not tell you how they are functioning on a day-to-day basis.

Do I need to prepare for a blood test?

We recommend fasting overnight for cholesterol and lipid testing, but most other blood tests do not require any form of preparation.
