Samedaydoctor was interviewed by GB news regarding the shortening of training times for doctors in order to improve the availability of doctors to the medical workforce. We were also asked in a separate interview about improving retention of doctors by adjustments to the pension lifetime allowance. We continue to be interviewed regularly by Talk TV, particularly Mike Graham and Julia Harltey-Brewer about a wide range of medical topics, in particular the analysis of the effects of lockdown and the management of the pandemic and future pandemics.

Dr Laurence Gerlis qualified with double First Class Honours from Clare College Cambridge where he was a scholar and William Butler prize winner - he was a Price scholar at the Royal London Hospital. He was responsible for the first-ever worldwide approval of human insulin for use in patients. Dr Gerlis is a Member of the Royal Colleges of Physicians and holds the Diploma in Pharmaceutical Medicine (DPM).
