An off duty doctor from our clinic in Manchester plus our Advance Nurse Practitioner successfully performed life support on a member of the public with a cardiac arrest in a square near our clinic . They used the defibrillator plus they maintained life support with cardiac massage and keeping the airway open until the ambulance arrived. This was excellent training put into practice and we all keep our skills up to date for just this eventuality- well done to the Manchester team.
